Zach Snider

LICENSED CONTRACTOR | PRINCIPAL | STEADY

Zach was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and stayed until he finished a Bachelors of Recreation, Parks and Tourism Resources from West Virginia University’s School of Forestry.

After working in Recreation Management and for a small sustainable logging company for a few years, Zach wanted to learn more about creating houses from logs so he put down the chainsaw and picked up a hammer.

His roots in the central Appalachian region brought him to Charlottesville, Virginia in 2001 where he went to work for a small family-owned contracting firm. Zach has been enthusiastically doing residential construction since then and is now partner / cofounder of Alloy Workshop.

Currently, Zach manages the construction component of Alloy and is continually inspired to develop Alloys’ business management practices and refine the flow of the construction processes. Zach holds National Association of Home Builders CAPS, CGP, and CGR designations.

Zach loves to run and competes in as many races as he can, regardless of distance. When he’s not running outside, he’s running after his two kids.  You’ll make a best friend for life if you take him fishing!
