These back-to-back bathrooms lacked storage, sunlight, and a place to soak and relax. We gave each room a window and replaced the shower curtains with glass so the natural light comes through. And, there’s that tub.

The soaking tub and skylight combination is tough to beat. This space was formerly a walk-in closet that, strangely, was entered through the bathroom. The lost closet space was recouped by a new closet in an underutilized space in the bedroom.

Other updates include replacing the vinyl, plastic, and formica with tile, porcelain, and quartz. This was more than just an excellent cosmetic upgrade – these materials will last for the lifetime of the house. Even in the kids’ bathroom.
