DESCRIPTION: Residential Renovation and Addition

This project involved multiple renovations throughout the home, with the primary suite serving as the centerpiece. The aim was to create a space of comfort and joy, fostering a deeper connection to the outdoors and maximizing natural light. The bedroom suite features a cohesive design centered around a custom millwork core, which seamlessly connects the bedroom to the bathroom through a set of clerestory interior windows and openings. A custom skylight integrates with the millwork, while the bedroom is furnished with bespoke pieces, including a headboard, bedframe, and nightstands. Shoji screens and a meditation platform complete the space, transforming it into a true sanctuary for meditation and relaxation.

The bedroom opens onto a fully renovated patio space, which boasts new plantings, trees, and stonework, further enhancing the connection to nature. The adjoining bathroom features a direct connection to this outdoor area, with a shower that incorporates playful, colored punched window openings, and a spa-like tub area designed for ultimate relaxation.

Additional renovations included updates to the guest bathrooms, sunroom, and exercise room, further enhancing the home’s functionality and aesthetic appeal.
