| Greenbrier Deck & Renovations
PROJECT: Architecture & Construction
DESCRIPTION: Residential Renovation
A lot can be accomplished with very targeted renovation projects. The owners of this 1965 home in the Greenbrier neighborhood wanted to update and add some living space.
We modernized the bathrooms, refreshed the entry to the house with a custom front door railing and an interior renovation of the interior entry area. An added bench and storage just inside the front door keeps things uncluttered. A full window replacement improves the curb appeal of the house and looks crisp and bright from the inside. The new windows are also a great insulation improvement over the old 1960s window technology.
The final touch to make the house feel fresh is a new deck out back that adds more living space without disrupting the nice layout and flow of the interior. The deck’s no-railing design makes enjoying the deck feel more connected to the yard and the outdoors. This is typical of the deck work by Alloy; it looks finished and solid with the appearance of being a real part of the home.
