Kate Tabony, RA
Kate came to Charlottesville in 1997 to pursue a degree in Architecture at the University of Virginia. After completing her degree, Kate worked in Oakland, California before moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico where she was an apprentice for a small firm called Solar Design and Analysis and designed an off-the-grid 16,000 square foot research center in Capitol Reef National Park. Before returning to Charlottesville, Kate attended Princeton University, received her Master of Architecture and spent a year in New York City managing projects for Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis Architects. Kate has been a studio critic and lecturer at the A-School. Presently, Kate is the Design Architect at Alloy and is the mother of two baby boys.
