Alloy Workshop is proud to announce that Amber Hall, Assoc. AIA successfully completed her Architect Registration Examination (ARE) and is a newly licensed architect.

The ARE is administered by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). The ARE is designed to assess aspects of architectural practice that affect the integrity, soundness, and health impact of a building. The exam also assesses an architect’s responsibilities within firms, such as managing projects and coordinating the work of other professionals.

Amber joined Alloy Workshop in January of 2016 and is an integral part of the firm and our architecture practice. She is currently working with Sen Thai Restaurant (opening soon at 5th Street Station) and most recently worked with Shenandoah JoeVitae SpiritsInternational School of Charlottesville, and Iron-Made.

Amber earned her Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. Amber’s experience includes all phases of design through construction management. She is a member of the Central Virginia chapter of the American Institute of Architects where she serves as the Emerging Professionals Liaison. In that role, she facilitates a sense of unity amongst new architects and designers by planning industry-specific events and offering volunteer opportunities.

Congratulations Amber!
